TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. Seller identity
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the "Terms") govern all sales of products and services made through lucvaudan.com (the "Website"). The Website is operated by:

2. Scope and acceptance
By placing an order on the Website, you (the "Customer") confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. These Terms apply to both consumers and professional buyers. Nothing in these Terms affects the mandatory statutory rights that consumers enjoy under Spanish and EU law.
3. Products and services
The Website offers:
Printed books, available in different editions (for example the "Luxury" numbered and signed hardcover, and the "Classic" hardcover), shipped physically.
eBooks (Kindle), which are sold and delivered directly by Amazon. Purchases of the Kindle edition are concluded with Amazon and governed by Amazon's own terms and conditions, not by these Terms.
Coaching and training sessions, booked online through our scheduling tool and delivered remotely.
Product descriptions, images and characteristics are provided in good faith. Minor variations (for example in colour rendering) may occur and do not affect the conformity of the product.
4. Prices
All prices are displayed in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT (IVA) where due.
For deliveries outside the European Union, prices are exclusive of any import duties, customs charges or local taxes, which are payable by the Customer to the relevant authorities.
We may change prices at any time. The price applicable to an order is the one displayed at the moment the order is placed.
5. Orders
An order is placed by selecting the product, edition and (where applicable) language, then completing payment.
The contract is formed once we confirm the order and/or payment has been successfully captured.
We may refuse or cancel an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, or unavailability. In such a case, any amount already paid is refunded.
6. Payment
Payments for products and services sold directly by us are processed by our payment provider, Revolut (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
We do not store your card details; they are handled securely by the payment provider.
The Kindle edition is paid directly to Amazon.
Goods are dispatched, and sessions scheduled, only after full payment has been received.
7. Delivery (printed books)
We ship worldwide.
Estimated delivery time is 2 to 3 business days for destinations within Europe, calculated after dispatch. Delivery times for other regions vary. All delivery times are estimates only.
Some destinations may require an additional shipping surcharge. If this applies to your order, we will contact you before dispatching and before charging any additional amount, so you can confirm or cancel.
Shipping costs are shown at the time of purchase (for example, the "Luxury" edition includes a shipping supplement, and the "Classic" edition is shipping-included), subject to any additional surcharge described above.
We are not responsible for delays caused by the carrier, customs, or any other event outside our reasonable control.
8. Right of withdrawal and returns (consumers)
Our editions are personalised collector's items and works protected by intellectual property. In accordance with the exceptions to the statutory right of withdrawal provided by Spanish and EU consumer law — which exclude goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, as well as digital content and items protected by intellectual property — the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to our printed books or eBooks.The Kindle / eBook edition is sold and delivered by Amazon and is governed by Amazon's own terms.This does not affect your legal guarantee of conformity: if an item arrives defective or damaged, contact us at contact@lucvaudan.com and we will replace it or refund you as required by law (see clause 13).
9. Coaching and training services (consumers)
Sessions are booked through our scheduling tool and delivered remotely.
Rescheduling and cancellation: you may reschedule or cancel a booked session free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled start time. Cancellations made later than 48 hours before, and no-shows, are non-refundable.
Right of withdrawal: as a consumer you may withdraw within 14 days of booking. However, if you expressly ask for a session to take place before the end of the 14-day period and that session is fully delivered, you lose the right of withdrawal for that session. Sessions already delivered are non-refundable.
All sessions are subject to the educational disclaimer in clause 11.
10. Intellectual property
All content — including our books, written and audiovisual materials, and the Website itself — is protected by intellectual property rights and remains the property of the Seller or its licensors. A purchase grants the Customer a personal, non-transferable right to use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. No reproduction, resale, redistribution, public sharing or commercial exploitation is permitted without our prior written consent.
11. Educational nature — no investment advice
All books, materials, coaching and content are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They do not constitute financial, investment, legal or tax advice, nor any recommendation, solicitation or offer to buy or sell any financial instrument. Trading and investing carry a high risk of loss. Any examples are illustrative and are not indicative of future results. No profit, performance or specific outcome is promised or guaranteed. You remain solely responsible for your own decisions and should seek independent professional advice before acting.
12. LiabilityTo the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for any trading or financial loss arising from the use of our content. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including consumers' statutory rights and the legal guarantee of conformity.
13. Legal guarantee of conformityPrinted books benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by Spanish and EU law. If an item arrives defective or damaged, contact us at contact@lucvaudan.com and we will arrange repair, replacement or refund as required by law.
14. Force majeureWe are not liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
15. Complaints and dispute resolutionFor any complaint, please contact us first at contact@lucvaudan.com we will do our best to resolve the matter amicably. Consumers resident in the EU may also have access to out-of-court alternative dispute resolution (ADR) bodies and to the consumer authorities of their country of residence. (The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on 20 July 2025 and is no longer available.)
16. Governing law and jurisdictionThese Terms are governed by Spanish law. The mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the Customer's country of residence remain applicable. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to a consumer's right to bring proceedings in their place of residence where the applicable law so allows.
